ELECTRICITY GENERATING BATTERIES – The Italian doctor and physiologist Luigi Galvani (1737-1798) investigated at the University of Bologna the response to the passage of electric current in the body of dead frogs. He wrote the scientific article “Commentary on the effects of electricity on muscle movement.”
