“DESIRE FOR COMMUNICATION, EXCHANGES, AND SOCIALIZATION INVENTION OF ORAL LANGUAGES.”
Homo sapiens, existing for 200,000 years, underwent a change in their vocalization system 40,000 years ago, with the descent of the larynx, leading to the development of speech. The evolution of the brain gave rise to symbolic systems that associate objects, people, events, or ideas with words that represent them. Through language, people can communicate over long distances, in mass, and use information in greater volume and organization. Subsequently, different languages emerged due to population dispersion and isolation. Conquests and voyages by navigators further facilitated the expansion of these languages throughout the known world in early times. In conquered territories, the language of the conqueror was often adopted.
