Mathematician and astronomer (Vasaar College). First woman with a degree in electrical engineering (MIT). He studied transmission lines and electrical circuits. He obtained a patent for a graphing calculator for use in troubleshooting transmission lines. Very appreciated in the AIEE (today IEEE).
