THE FIRST BLACK AND WHITE TRANSMISSION IN MEXICO
It takes place on August 19, 1946, from the bathroom of the house number 74 of the streets of Havre in the capital of the country, place of residence of the engineer Guillermo González Camarena. The success was such that on September 7 of that year, at 8:30 p.m., the first experimental television station in Latin America was officially inaugurated; XE1GC.
This station broadcast an artistic and interview program on Saturdays for two years.
