Historical XEW radio capsule 1930
On September 18, 1930, Don Emilio Azcárraga Vidaurreta officially began broadcasting in Mexico City with the XEW-AM station, created together with the Mexico division of RCA (Mexico music corporation), the latter being the majority shareholder. At first, it broadcast from the heights of the “Olympia” cinema on Independence Street, later moving to City Hall No. 52, which was in the center of the city.
