One of the first mobile phones with an internal antenna and the first to become popular, thanks in part to the promotion obtained in the Wachowski brothers’ film “The Matrix” in 1999.
It was designed so that the posture of the hand when holding it interfered as little as possible with the signal and, although the decision to hide the antenna in the body of the mobile implied worse reception and greater battery consumption, the Nokia 8810 was one of the best-selling mobiles at the end of the 90s.
